Kurz Instruments USB Driver for the PC
This device driver allows communication through a USB cable from a B-series product to a computer. The B-Series product family includes the 454FTB, 504FTB, 534FTB and K-BAR 2000B product lines. It is backwards compatible to previous versions of the B-series product.

The MFTB device's Sensor Control (SC) board's barcode will determine which USB driver is required for the Windows PC.  The barcode can be found in the menus of the MFTB device, on the printable configuration file, or on the SC board itself.  If the barcode is C51938 or higher, use the FTDI USB Serial Driver, otherwise us the Kurz USB-HID COM Port Driver.  The SC boards that require the FTDI driver started shipping at the end of August 2011.

Note: The newest MFTB devices when connected to a Windows PC with internet access will automatically find, download, and install the USB driver required.

KzComm
KzComm is a computer program that uses the XMODEM or MODBUS RTU protocols to communicate with the Kurz Instruments devices. Its primary application is to transfer the configuration file from the PC to the Kurz device or from Kurz device to the PC. It is backwards compatible to previous versions of the B-series product.

Kurz MODBUS Client
Kurz MODBUS Client is a computer program that can be used to demonstrate the MODBUS protocol capability of the Kurz MFTB and MFTA Series products.

Kurz Instruments Upload/Download
Upload/Download V6.81 is required for use with Model 155 systems using KAS 6.81 firmware and is read compatible with prior KAS releases. Use the Installation Guide to determine if your equipment requires this firmware update.

Tera Term Terminal Emulation Software
Tera Term is a free software terminal emulator (communications) program. It emulates different types of terminals, from DEC VT100 to DEC VT382. It supports telnet, SSH 1 & 2 and serial port connections. It also has a built in Macro scripting language and a few other useful plugins.
